2-minute check: fuser heat or paper settings

Most curling/wrinkling is caused by paper type settings or heat (fuser)—not the toner cartridge.

Do this (in order)

  1. Set Paper Type = Plain Paper

  2. Try a fresh, dry paper pack

  3. Print 5 pages → pause 2 minutes → print again

What it tells you

  • Fixed by Plain Paper → setting mismatch

  • Fixed by fresh paper → humidity/paper quality

  • Better after a pause → fuser heat/pressure stability

Quick fixes

  • Use Plain for normal A4/Letter

  • Store paper sealed and dry

  • Avoid thin paper with high-heat modes
